This Privacy Policy explains how Betline collects, uses, retains, and protects personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Betline is a content and comparison website covering licensed online betting operators in South Africa. Betline does not offer gambling services and does not accept bets. Any operators featured on the site hold licences issued by one or more South African provincial gambling boards.

12. Security

Betline implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include SSL/TLS encryption across all site connections.

No method of data transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and Betline cannot guarantee the absolute security of information in transit or at rest. In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to the rights of visitors, Betline will notify affected individuals and the Information Regulator as required under POPIA.
