Ozow is a South African fintech company that operates an automated Instant EFT payment gateway. It was founded in 2014 under the name i-Pay and is headquartered in Johannesburg and Cape Town. The service enables bank-to-bank payments in real time, without the need for a debit card, credit card, or separate Ozow account.

Ozow is authorised as a System Operator and registered as a Third-Party Payment Provider with the Payments Association of South Africa (PASA), in line with South African Reserve Bank Directives 1 of 2007 and 2 of 2007. It operates within the National Payment System framework and applies PCI DSS Level 1 controls to all transactions.

For bettors, this means Ozow functions as a trusted middle layer between a licensed betting operator and a South African bank account. The transaction is authorised inside the bettor’s own internet banking environment, and the betting operator never receives the banking credentials.

How To Deposit with Ozow at a South African Betting Site
