Free State Gambling, Liquor and Tourism Authority Function
The FSGLTA South Africa licenses, regulates and monitors gambling activities in the Free State. It also regulates the retail, distribution and micro-manufacturing of liquor, and plays a role in tourism development including destination marketing, product development and the regulation and registration of tourist guides.
The Authority works closely with national entities including the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, the National Gambling Board, the National Liquor Authority and South African Tourism to ensure alignment with national priorities.
